We originally launched this site as Almost Granola to highlight life as a family of eight. We quickly discovered that our readers connected most with our stories about anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder, so we re-branded, and here we are. We’re so excited to work with you!
With kids in their 20s all the way down to five-year-old identical twins, we’ve had to find creative ways to travel — even with travel anxiety. We are committed to showing our kids the importance of overcoming challenges and living life to the fullest!
Over the years, we’ve found ways to manage anxiety, avoid getting sick, tackle the most intimidating roller coasters, and enjoy amazing family vacations. Through it all, we’ve got two major goals — have fun and conquer fears!
Partnering with The Anxious Travelers
Whether it’s climbing a mountain or swimming in an underground river, we use travel experiences as therapy. We pack up and head to the airport to face the things that scare us! Building trust with our readers is important, so we won’t recommend anything that seems unsafe. Here are some things to know about us:
- We only write about places we’ve visited first-hand.
- We’ll never lie to our readers.
We’re openly looking for opportunities to try new destinations. We look forward to working together to show our readers new ways to conquer travel anxiety through meaningful vacations and experiences. Let’s work together on:
- Trip and/or attraction sponsorship
- Brand representative/ambassador
- Travel and product campaigns
We’ve had wonderful experiences working with the following brands and destinations:
- Universal Orlando Resort
- Universal Studios Hollywood
- Disneyland Resort
- Cedar Point Amusement Park
- Lagoon Amusement Park
- Canada’s Wonderland
- Fairmont Pacific Rim
- The Ritz-Carlton Toronto
