Did you see the movie, Us? We preferred Jordan Peele’s Get Out, but this was a solid follow-up effort. The first thing we said after seeing it, though, was that it would make an AMAZING attraction at Halloween Horror Nights 2019. Next month, we’ll get to see it in action. Why? It’s been announced as a maze this year at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort!
The parks do a great job at keeping the big details under wraps, but we know two things. First, it’s going to have underground tunnels. Second, we’ll be among”The Tethered.” Yikes! Will you see your doppelganger in the warped mirrors of a fun house?
Oh man… mirrors… We’re not sure we can handle that!
Brave guests will retrace Adelaide Wilson’s steps as she leaves the Santa Cruz boardwalk and begins her traumatizing journey. We can only imagine how chaotic this house is going to be by the end of it. Our hearts are already racing!
It’s Going to be Intense!
Here’s what Jordan Peele had to say about this maze: “It’s very exciting to know that fans of Us will get to experience firsthand the terror of being stalked and tormented by ‘The Tethered.’ It’s been a lifelong ambition of mine to create a monster that would scare people on Halloween, so having ‘The Tethered’ join such esteemed company is a dream come true.”
Basically, he’s saying he’s fully committed to making a truly terrifying house and our anxiety is going to be through the roof! Did you see what happened to us last year on the R.I.P. Tour at Halloween Horror Nights? It was crazy (but absolutely incredible)! Either way, if you’re looking for the very best Halloween event in America, you cannot skip a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando Resort.
