Hi! We’re Jeanne & Josh

We originally launched this site as Almost Granola to highlight life as a family of eight. We quickly discovered that our readers connected most with our stories about anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder, so we re-branded, and here we are. We’re so excited to have you with us on our adventures!

With kids in their 20s all the way down to five-year-old identical twins, we’ve had to find creative ways to travel — even with anxiety.  Over the years, we’ve found ways to manage anxiety, avoid getting sick, tackle the most intimidating roller coasters, and enjoy amazing family vacations. Through it all, we’ve had two major goals — have fun and conquer fears!

Our next big challenge is an overseas move to Japan. Of course, the pandemic has made this more complicated! We’re determined, though, and we’ll be sharing our relocation journey along the way!
